Singapore Grand Prix 2026 Sprint weekend: a dated archive

Singapore staged its first F1 Sprint weekend from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October 2026 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. This dated archive keeps the schedule we published before the weekend, the results Singapore GP reported afterwards and the ticket lessons that still apply to a future edition. The 2026 race weekend has ended; nothing here is a current ticket offer.

Singapore GP’s 11 October sell-out report described another sold-out weekend with 301,294 people at the circuit, which it called the second-highest attendance on record. For events that are still to come, browse the EventsHub listings.

How did the Sprint change the 2026 weekend?

The Sprint format put a competitive session on every day. Before the weekend, the organiser’s F1 race page gave these Singapore times:

• Friday, 9 October: first practice at 4.30pm, then Sprint qualifying at 8.30pm.
• Saturday, 10 October: the Sprint at 5pm, then qualifying for the Grand Prix at 9pm.
• Sunday, 11 October: the Grand Prix at 8pm.

Friday was therefore more than a practice day: it settled the Sprint grid. Saturday held two separate contests, and the Sprint and the Grand Prix were different races on different days. Singapore GP’s Saturday report says heavy rain delayed the Sprint’s start by half an hour, a reminder that a published start time is a plan rather than a promise.

What happened on track?

The organiser’s reports give the results. Max Verstappen of Red Bull took pole for the Sprint on Friday (Friday report), won the Sprint on Saturday by 2.591 seconds from Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, and won Sunday’s 62-lap Grand Prix from pole, 7.335 seconds ahead of Leclerc, with Kimi Antonelli third (race report). Singapore GP says it was his first Singapore Grand Prix win.

Which ticket lessons carry over to the next edition?

A day was only half a ticket decision in 2026. The organiser’s ticket selector separated products with different viewing arrangements, days and zones, and a headline event name did not mean unrestricted entry. The clearest example was the drivers’ Fan Forum at the Zone 1 Wharf Stage: when we checked the race page on 10 October, it said access required a valid Zone 1 or Zone 2 ticket for the corresponding day.

Availability moved quickly too. On 10 October the organiser’s ticket page carried a “Final Chance to Secure Your Spot” notice, and on 11 October it reported a sold-out weekend. We never published a “cheapest available” price, because a starting price and a ticket you can still buy are different facts.

By 17 October 2026 the old 2026 ticket address led to a page headed “2027 Tickets”. We have not verified 2027 dates, products or prices and quote none here. How can a future planner use this archive?

Work backwards from the session you most want to see, then check the days and zones a ticket actually includes. The organiser’s circuit park map page was still online on 17 October; its zone and gate detail is published as an image or PDF, which we did not independently read, so confirm that it shows the edition you are planning for.
