For Christmas on Sentosa, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has announced Season of Joy, a resort-wide celebration from Friday 27 November 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027 with a Korean pop-culture theme. Unveiled on 8 October 2026, it includes an eight-metre tree, a wish-ribbon installation and stage shows at the WEAVE precinct, A Universal Christmas inside Universal Studios Singapore, Glowcean Wonderland and a ticketed K-pop Silent Disco at Singapore Oceanarium, and a K-Wave Christmas programme at Adventure Cove Waterpark.

The details that decide an outing, such as which parts cost money, show times and Silent Disco dates, are only partly published. RWS says more will be unveiled "in the coming weeks". This guide separates what is confirmed from what is not, with a plan for a group of friends rather than a family day.

At a glance

  • Dates: 27 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, across Resorts World Sentosa (RWS release, 8 October 2026).
  • WEAVE: an eight-metre Christmas tree, the Colours of our Wishes ribbon installation, pop performances, weekend jazz, carols and balloon sculpting.
  • Singapore Oceanarium: Glowcean Wonderland and The Glowcean Journey trail; a K-Pop-themed Silent Disco, "a ticketed experience available on selected nights".
  • Universal Studios Singapore: A Universal Christmas returns, with a 10-metre Confectionery Christmas tree on Hollywood Boulevard and an all-new musical show.
  • Keychain offer: spend at least S$88, in up to two same-day receipts at WEAVE, for a Gori-knot keychain.
  • Packages: hotel bundles and a Season of Joy 2-Park Pass on RWS's Season of Joy page.

What is in Resorts World Sentosa's Season of Joy?

The release describes four strands.

  • WEAVE precinct. The centrepiece is Colours of our Wishes: you choose one of seven coloured ribbons (Love, Joy, Hope, Resilience, Dreams, Togetherness or New Beginnings), write a wish and add it to an installation that changes as thousands of wishes accumulate. An eight-metre tree anchors the precinct; the WEAVE stage has pop performances, weekend jazz, carols, balloon sculpting and family entertainment; Santa takes up residence in a "Holiday Audio Lounge" for meet-and-greets before Christmas; and a giant gift-box installation stands at Grand Avenue.
  • Singapore Oceanarium. Glowcean Wonderland reimagines Christmas lights through bioluminescent and fluorescent sea life. The Glowcean Journey is a stamp trail with "Manja the Manta Ray" ending at a glowing tree. After dark, a K-Pop-themed Silent Disco with Korean-inspired bites runs on selected nights, as a separate ticket. There are also an underwater Santa dive and festive dive feeds.
  • Universal Studios Singapore. A Universal Christmas returns with Dazzling Dessert Studios on Hollywood Boulevard (oversized desserts and the 10-metre tree), meet-and-greets with Santa, Mrs Claus, Hello Kitty and Kuromi, an all-new musical, The North Pole Jingle Jam, in the New York zone, and the Universal Jingle Jam sing-along with Poppy from Trolls, Sesame Street characters and the Minions.
  • Adventure Cove Waterpark. K-Wave Christmas, with the resident DJ playing K-pop and Christmas hits at BluWater Bay and Korean-inspired food.

RWS also lists festive dining and gifting, led by Pierre Hermé Paris's 2026 Circus Collection of macarons, chocolates, log cakes and panettone.

Which parts are free, and which need a ticket?

The release is clear on some points and silent on others.

  • Needs a ticket: the Silent Disco ("a ticketed experience available on selected nights"). The Oceanarium, Universal Studios and Adventure Cove programmes take place inside those attractions; RWS sells Universal Studios and Oceanarium day tickets (see the packages below), and the release does not say the festive programmes are open without admission.
  • Not stated: whether the WEAVE installations, the wish ribbons, the stage programme and Santa's lounge carry any charge. The release mentions no fee for them, but it does not say "free" either.
  • Conditional: the Gori-knot keychain needs a minimum spend of S$88 at WEAVE, in up to two same-day receipts.

Until RWS publishes the full programme, treat the WEAVE elements as likely open to walk-in visitors (our inference from the absence of a stated charge), and check on the day.

How much does a Season of Joy package cost?

RWS's Season of Joy page listed these on 17 October 2026, unchanged since 16 October:

  • 3D2N Season of Joy Hotel Bundle at Hotel Ora or Equarius Hotel: at least two nights in a Deluxe Room, breakfast, two Universal Studios Singapore and two Singapore Oceanarium adult one-day tickets (ages 13 and above), and a K-themed welcome gift for bookings made on the RWS website, while stocks last. From S$858.48.
  • 3D2N Season of Joy Hotel Bundle at The Laurus: a Deluxe Suite with breakfast, the same two attraction tickets for two, and two Universal Express Passes; the release says it can be booked from 13 October for stays between 27 November and 3 January. The page gave no price in its text.
  • Season of Joy 2-Park Pass: one Universal Studios Singapore and one Singapore Oceanarium one-day ticket, each usable once within seven days, with priority entry to both attractions (not to rides). The page says "save up to SGD24" but gave no price in its text, so check the checkout.

A worked example for two friends sharing the cheapest bundle (illustrative): S$858.48 divided by two is S$429.24 each, covering two nights, breakfast and both attractions. For four friends in two rooms, or when one person books for all, our group cost calculator gives each person's share rounded up.

A Christmas evening at RWS for a group of friends

An illustrative plan, assuming the WEAVE programme runs in the evenings as the release suggests ("from day into night"):

  1. Late afternoon: the Oceanarium's Glowcean Journey, if your group wants a paid attraction.
  2. Early evening: WEAVE for the tree, the wish ribbons and whatever is on the stage; weekend jazz is listed for weekends.
  3. Dinner: at one of RWS's restaurants; our guide to splitting the bill fairly on a night out covers shared plates and service charges.
  4. Late: the K-pop Silent Disco, on one of its selected nights, once RWS names them.

Christmas Day 2026 is a Friday (MOM's public holidays page), which makes 25 to 27 December a long weekend; our Christmas long-weekend group plan shows how to agree the date and budget. For concerts listed by RWS over the same period, see our concerts list for November to January, and for more dated outings, the going-out topic page.
