Gardens by the Bay has listed dates for seven Flower Dome displays running through 2027: Spring Blossoms (15 January to 28 February 2027), Sakura (9 March to 11 April), Tulipmania (23 April to 20 May), Sunflower Surprise (28 May to 4 July), the ASEAN Orchid Extravaganza (16 July to 12 September), Alpine Adventure (24 September to 31 October) and the Christmas Train Show 2027 (12 November 2027 to 2 January 2028). Every display runs 9am to 9pm and is covered by the Flower Dome ticket, which costs S$12 for a resident adult on the Gardens' price list as of 16 October 2026.
That makes 2027 unusually easy to plan around. Below are the current and coming displays, what a ticket costs, and which 2027 public holidays fall inside each display, the days we would expect to be busiest.

What is on at the Flower Dome now?
Sunflower Surprise: Garden by the Ocean is the Gardens' first Portuguese-themed floral display. Its page describes a walk through Alfama, one of Lisbon's oldest neighbourhoods, the striped houses of Costa Nova, a 6m-tall Farol de Belém lighthouse, the bow of a traditional carrack, vineyards, olive groves and cork oaks, with more than 5,000 sunflowers across 20 varieties, some up to 1.8m tall. It marks 45 years of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Portugal.
Alongside it, the Experience Portugal programme runs from 8 October to 9 November 2026, free with a Flower Dome ticket. It includes 15-minute poetry readings in Portuguese and English in the Mediterranean Garden at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm on Saturdays, with 7 November the last date listed, and an exhibition on five centuries of shared history.
From Friday 20 November the Christmas Train Show returns for its third edition, until Sunday 3 January 2027: model trains through landscapes inspired by the United States, Singapore (with two SMRT trains and MRT stations reimagined by National University of Singapore architecture students) and Rovaniemi in Finland, according to its event page. Note the maintenance closure on Monday 16 November.
When are the 2027 Flower Dome displays?
Each event page gives the same hours (9am to 9pm), the same admission note ("Admission charge to Flower Dome applies") and the same caveat ("Floral display details are subject to change").
- Spring Blossoms, 15 January to 28 February 2027. Lunar New Year display for the Year of the Goat: golden kumquats, dahlias, peach blossoms and festive floral sculptures.
- Sakura, 9 March to 11 April 2027. A Japanese garden of cherry blossoms with cascading purple wisteria and blossom-lined paths.
- Tulipmania, 23 April to 20 May 2027. Inspired by the amphitheatres and Iznik tiles of Türkiye, with terraced tulips and courtyard fountains.
- Sunflower Surprise, 28 May to 4 July 2027. Greece this time, with white-and-blue Aegean archways among the sunflowers.
- ASEAN Orchid Extravaganza, 16 July to 12 September 2027. Native and cultivated orchids from all ASEAN countries.
- Alpine Adventure, 24 September to 31 October 2027. The Gardens' first Austrian display, inspired by Schönbrunn Palace, with carpets of begonias.
- Christmas Train Show 2027, 12 November 2027 to 2 January 2028. Swiss railway scenes through snowy pine forests and poinsettia fields.

How much is a Flower Dome ticket?
On 16 October 2026 the Gardens' Flower Dome page listed these prices, inclusive of GST:
- Singapore residents, Flower Dome only: adult S$12; senior aged 60 and above S$8; child aged 3 to 12 S$8.
- Singapore residents, Flower Dome and Cloud Forest: adult S$34; senior S$29; child S$26.
- Non-residents: no Flower Dome-only ticket was listed; Flower Dome and Cloud Forest was S$46 for an adult and S$32 for a child.
Resident rates apply to citizens, permanent residents and people living in Singapore, including Employment Pass, Work Permit and Dependent Pass holders. The page says proof of residency and a local bank card may be required, and that you will need to upgrade the ticket if you cannot show proof. Prices for 2027 have not been published, so these are today's prices, not a promise for next year.
Which 2027 public holidays fall inside each display?
This is our own cross-check of the display dates against the Ministry of Manpower's 2027 public holidays (last updated 19 June 2026). Holidays and long weekends are likely to be the busiest days for any attraction; that is an inference, not a Gardens statement.
- Spring Blossoms: Chinese New Year falls on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 February 2027. MOM says Monday 8 February is a public holiday if your rest day falls on 7 February.
- Sakura: Hari Raya Puasa on Wednesday 10 March and Good Friday on 26 March, which makes 26 to 28 March a three-day weekend.
- Tulipmania: Labour Day on Saturday 1 May, Hari Raya Haji on Monday 17 May (a long weekend from 15 to 17 May) and Vesak Day on Thursday 20 May, the display's last day.
- Sunflower Surprise: no public holiday falls between 28 May and 4 July 2027.
- ASEAN Orchid Extravaganza: National Day on Monday 9 August (7 to 9 August is a long weekend).
- Alpine Adventure: Deepavali on Thursday 28 October.
- Christmas Train Show 2027: Christmas Day on Saturday 25 December 2027.
Two practical readings follow. If you want Sakura without the long-weekend crowd, pick a weekday that avoids the 10 March holiday and the Good Friday weekend of 26 to 28 March. If you need a long weekend for visitors from overseas, the Good Friday and Hari Raya Haji weekends line up with Sakura and Tulipmania. Our leave planner for 2027 shows which leave days bridge those weekends.
Planning a Flower Dome visit as a group
The Gardens recommends about an hour in the Flower Dome, so it pairs well with something else. For a group, the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest combination is the simplest ticket to agree on; when one person buys for everyone, our group cost calculator splits it. Until 1 November, the immersive art shows at IMBA Theatre, on the Gardens' West Lawn beside Bayfront Plaza, can share the same outing; see our guide to IMBA Theatre's closing dates. For agreeing a date in the first place, our guide to making a group plan has a message template. More planning pieces are on the planning topic page.
